Condensate Separator works with compressed air systems.

August 25, 2005 - DS Series removes condensate from compressed air system, wherever it forms, and discharges it in environmentally sound manner. When oil is present, condensate is purified to 100 ppm levels of residual oil content before discharged to public water treatment systems. New Condensate Oil/Water Separator Available from Donaldson Company, Inc.

MINNEAPOLIS, July 14— Donaldson Ultrafilter, a division of Donaldson Company, Inc., is pleased to announce the launch of our new DS Series compressed air condensate oil/water separator product line. Liquid condensate is generated at a number of points throughout a compressed air system. Wherever condensate forms, it must be removed from the compressed air system and discharged in a manner that is both environmentally sound and economical. When oil is present, the condensate must be purified to legal levels of residual oil content before it can be discharged to public water treatment systems. That level may have to be reduced to 100 ppm or lower, depending on local ordinances. DS Series oil/water separators have been designed to meet or exceed those discharge levels as efficiently and economically as possible. In addition, this new line of oil/water separators incorporates a number of installation and maintenance enhancements including: multiple condensate inlet ports, a more easily removed and cleaned sedimentation tank, tapered carbon bag chambers for ease of change-out, a knob-adjustable oil skimming tray and an attached, hinged lid.
