Digital to Synchro Converters provide ±4 minute accuracy.
August 24, 2005 - Measuring 2.6 x 3.1 x .60 in., Digital to Synchro Converter Modules accept 14-bit natural binary angle and convert it into 3-wire synchro or 4-wire resolver signal. Standard output voltages are 90 or 11.8 V RMS L-L, 60 or 400 Hz. Output is short circuit protected and loading of 1.5 Va is available. Digital inputs are TTL/DTL compatible, and synchro output and reference is fully transformer isolated. Operating temperature is 0–70°C or -55 to 85°C.

New Low Profile 14-Bit Digital to Synchro Converter Provides Plus/Minus 4 Minute Accuracy
Computer Conversions Corporation has introduced a series of low profile 14-bit digital to synchro converter modules. The new devices are .6" high and provide ±4 minute accuracies when driving CT's, CX's, or CDX's.
The 2.6" x 3.1" x .60"H units will accept a 14-bit natural binary angle and convert it inot 3-wire synchro or 4 wire resolver signal. The output is short circuit protected and loading of 1.5VA is available. Standard output voltages are 90 or 11.8V RMS L-L, 60 or 400Hz. Digital inputs are TTL/DTL compatible and the synchro output and reference is fully transformer isolated.
Part No. DSL40-L requires a 26V reference and +15V at 135 ma, -15V at 100ma and +5V at 50ma. Operating temperature ranges are 0°C to 70°C or -55°C to 85°C.
Prices in reasonable production quantities are less than $400 each. Delivery is 2 weeks ARO.
