Multi-Mold Cassette takes indoor air quality readings.
August 24, 2005 - Operating in accordance with fluid/air dynamic principals, dual M2 disposable sampling device reads indoor air quality in various environments. It utilizes standard pump and calibration equipment, with each cassette capable of collecting 2 different samples, collecting 2 identical samples concurrently, or collecting one sample while using other cell as control. Depending on environment, cassette operates at optimal flow rate of 15 LPM for 1, 5, or 10 minutes.

Allegro Industries Announces the M2 Multi-Mold Cassette
Two Is Better Than One
Garden Grove, CA ~ Allegro Industries is pleased to announce the debut of their one-of-a-kind dual M2 Multi-Mold Cassette. This disposable, efficient sampling device is designed to read IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) in the home, at commercial sites, and on inspections and restorations, in addition to remediation operations. Operating in accordance with well-known fluid/air dynamic principals, the M2 utilizes standard pump and calibration equipment, with each cassette capable of three separate functions: collecting two different samples, collecting two identical samples concurrently, or collecting one sample while using the other cell as a control.
The M2 is a patent-pending two-sided cassette and the very first of its kind for field and laboratory personnel. Designed for easier and more efficient use, the M2 allows for the following operations: onetime preparation for two samples, pre-printed traverse marks on the collection slide for standardized counting, and side-by-side comparison of the samples under the microscope. Depending on the environment, the cassette operates at an optimal flow rate of 15 liters per minute for 10 minutes, 5 minutes, or 1 minute, and can be used with commercially available wall sampling adaptors.
The M2 incorporates standard impact design characteristics, including a rectangular nozzle with inlet and exit slit geometry. The cassette houses an appropriately positioned collection plate with laboratory-accepted propriety adhesive media, its characteristics determined by a numerical solution of the Navier-Stokes equations and of the equation of motion of particles (DJ Rader and BA Marple, 1995, Aerosol Science & Technology 4: 141-156). Air particles are deposited onto the adhesive over a rectangular-shaped area of approximately 16 square millimeters.
Developed by technical professionals at Innovative Sampling Solutions, the state-of-the-art M2 Multi-Mold Cassette has successfully undergone extensive field and laboratory evaluation, leading a new generation of mold detectors designed to meet the needs of the 21st century.
