Detects Low Level Methyl Bromide Leaks and Releases

An economical monitoring system that detects parts-per-million concentrations of methyl bromide is now available from PureAire Monitoring Systems. Designed for use in Class I, Division 1, Group B, C, and D hazardous areas, the Air Check EX Methyl Bromide Monitor responds to concentrations as low as five (5) PPM in less than 30 seconds, yet is unaffected by humidity and other environmental conditions. It is available with a standard measuring range of 0 to 50 PPM.

Unlike solid state LEL detectors, the Air Check EX combines a renewable electrochemical sensor with a long-life pyrolyzer to provide reliable, highly specific methyl bromide detection at an extremely low annual operational cost. Standard features include a bright LCD readout, 4-20 mA output, user-adjustable dual-level concentration alarms, and system fault relay. The system operates on 24 VDC power and can be linked to a distributive control system, programmable logic controller, or one of PureAire's proprietary single or multi-channel controllers.
