Ink Jet Printer produces print heights down to .025 in.


August 18, 2005 - Non-contact, continuous ci1000 micro applies identifying marks, sell-by dates, and lot date codes to any surface. Micro printhead produces characters as small as .025 in. at speeds to 1,755 fpm. System features single electronic board, dual 32-bit processor, and memory that stores in excess of 1,000 messages. Critical operating settings are automatically adjusted dependent on environment. Ethernet, RS232/RS485 communications, and multiple programmable I/O are standard.

resolution, high speed identifying marks, sell-by dates and lot date codes to any surface. The non-contact, high-speed printing
gives near letter quality print resolution. The micro printhead can produce very fine characters accurately – as small as .025”
(.6mm) at speeds up to 1755 feet / minute (355 meters / minute) – the fastest in its class!

Standard features of the ci1000 system include a single electronic board, featuring surface mount technology and dual 32 bit processor architecture provide a first in class operating platform offering a range of standard fonts, hundreds of different printing formats with WYSIWYG field drag and drop message formatting with integral graphic WYSIWYG graphic editor. Standard memory stores in excess of 1000 messages with the ability to print up to five lines of text are offered as standard. Integrated with smart printhead and ink system components critical operating settings are automatically adjusted dependent on the environment to maintain optimum print quality. Ethernet, RS232/RS485 communications, multiple programmable inputs and outputs including a solid-state relay are integrated as standard providing unparalleled communication options. Designed for a global market, the ciSeries systems feature multiple language formats. Print multi-national characters, custom graphics at the touch of a button.
