August 18, 2005 - Featuring luminous intensities up to 23,500 mcd, solid-state AYL series is suited for sign, backlighting, or general illumination applications. They utilize AlGaInP die technology and are offered in SMT, P4, 5 mm round and elliptical package styles with choice of 15º, 30º, 40º, 70º, 70º x 40º, 90º, 110ºx50º, and 120º viewing angles. LEDs are also available in 632 nm red. Specific applications include portable equipment and illuminated switches.

With luminous intensities of up to 23,500mcd, AYL yellow LEDs from Cotco provide an output that is significantly brighter than products currently available on the market today. This will allow designers the luxury of economically reducing power consumption while maintaining a high level of brightness seldom seen at this power level. AYL yellow LEDs are available in surface mount, P4, 5mm round and elliptical package styles, with a variety of viewing angles to choose from. The AYL yellow series of LEDs represents Cotco's next generation of solid-state LED products that succeed in delivering superior price and performance for high intensity LEDs.
