Full Featured Yet Cost Effective, Corrosion Resistant All Plastic Automated Ball Valves
Hayward's Series EA Electric Actuated Plastic True Union Ball Valves have been specifically designed for cost sensitive applications that can't get by with less than a full featured valve/actuator combination. In the past, system operators who wanted a cost effective actuated plastic ball valve had to settle for a stripped down actuator mounted to a nonrepairable "throw away" type valve. Now they can take advantage of Hayward's EA Series Valves that feature a fully repairable valve and an electric actuator that comes standard with most required features.
EA Series Automated Plastic Ball Valves from Hayward feature a rugged, 110 VAC electric actuator with an output torque of 140 in. lbs. A built-in, automatic resetting thermal overload protector prevents motor burnout. The 25% duty cycle motor drives the valve through a permanently lubricated, rugged gear train. There is never a need to set or adjust internal actuator settings, which are set for the life of the actuator at the factory. All internal components are sealed inside a heavy duty, Nema 4X-rated plastic housing.
The EA Series Automated Ball Valves are rated at a full 225 psi and feature a true union design for easy removal from the piping system for maintenance. There is never a need to break down piping connections. With EPDM seals and PTFE seats the valve will stand up to aggressive commercial and industrial applications. The full port valve design ensures maximum flow rates with low pressure drops.
These rugged, fully serviceable automated valves will provide years of reliable service. Series EA Automated All Plastic True Union Ball Valves are available in PVC construction in sizes for ½" through 2" pipelines with socket or threaded end connections.
