Streamlight® Introduces Enduro™ LED Headlight to its Family of Headlamps
Super-Lightweight, Hands-Free Light Perfect for Industrial Use,
Delivering Superior Continuous Runtime
EAGLEVILLE, PA, – August 6, 2005 – Streamlight® Inc., a leading manufacturer of high-performance flashlights, today announced the introduction of the Enduro™ LED headlight to its family of headlamps. Designed to deliver the reliable performance and superior continuous runtime valued by industrial workers, the Enduro weighs a mere 2.75 ounces, including batteries.
The hands-free Enduro headlight features an ultra-light 0.5watt LED, designed to last 100,000 hours while providing up to 18 lumens of output. Powered by two “AAA” batteries, the Enduro’s solid-state power regulation maintains maximum output throughout the life of the batteries. A two-stage switch offers a choice of high and low beam settings, providing up to 24 hours of continuous runtime on the low-beam setting and up to seven hours on the high-beam setting.
“The Enduro is made with industrial workers’ needs in mind because it can withstand the rigors of heavy use without sacrificing Streamlight’s high standards for reliability,” said Walter Kaihatu, Streamlight Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “From its ultra-light weight to its steady illumination, the Enduro is designed for maximum user comfort, stability and hands-free convenience while providing generous runtime for tasks that require extended time.”
Kaihatu said the Enduro’s water-resistant, O-ring sealed polycarbonate lens and body withstand harsh conditions found in many industrial settings. The included head strap combines non-slip security with the flexibility to accommodate a range of head sizes and fits comfortably on a hardhat for industrial workers, most of whom wear hardhats for safety.
The Enduro headlamp is backed by Streamlight’s exclusive “No Excuses” limited lifetime warranty. Suggested retail for the Enduro headlamp is $19.95. For more information about the Enduro, or any other light in Streamlight’s line, visit http://www.streamlight.com.
