Cantilever shelving offers easy access to stored items from the top and front. Cantilever shelves are well suited for the storage of odd shaped and large items or cases of items. From standard warehouse and manufacturing applications to refrigerated environments to -40° C, Remstar horizontal carousels are easily configured.
Bins and shelving can be installed in a wide range of widths, depths and spacing to maximize storage density. Carriers are designed to hold 600, 1,000, and 1,500 pounds. For high-density storage of heavy materials, carrier capacity of 2,500 pounds is available.
Horizontal carousels are a system of carriers that rotate on an oval track, delivering stored items to an operator on command. Because they reduce search and travel time and utilize pick-to-light technology, horizontal carousels can increase order picking productivity by up to 600 percent, while virtually eliminating mis-picks. The high-density design of these systems reduces storage space requirements 40 to 60 percent, recovering floor space for value-added operations.
