August 16, 2005 - Appropriate for use as temperature calibration standard, thermistor-based digital Model 4400T has range of -20 to 130°F with accuracy to ±0.03°C from -5 to 70°C and ±0.05°C over rest of range. LCD features low battery indicator as well as rate-of-change arrows, which flash relative to speed of change in temperature. Rubber rocker switch lets user select between °C and °F. Powered by 9 Vdc alkaline battery, thermometer includes 7 in. stainless steel probe and 6 ft cable.

4400T Precision Probe Thermometer

Description

The compact, economical 4400T comes with a NIST-traceable certificate of calibration and is appropriate for use as a temperature calibration standard. The thermistor-based digital thermometer has a range of -20°C to 130°C (-4°F to 266°F) and is accurate to ±0.03°C from -5°C to 70°C (23°F to 158°F) and ±0.05°C over the rest of the range. The easy-to-read LCD features a low battery indicator as well as "rate of change" arrows which flash relative to the speed of any change in temperature. A rubber rocker switch to select between Celsius and Fahrenheit and display HOLD are among the other practical features. The unit is powered by a user-replaceable 9VDC alkaline battery and has an easy-to-read LCD display, rugged 7-inch stainless steel probe and 6-foot cable. An optional 110VAC adapter is available for continuous use applications.
