First-Ever Monitor-Keyboard Drawer with a Trackball
If you're used to a mouse, trackballs are much more intuitive than touchpads. That's why CyberResearch, Inc. offers the GFM 1501 FoldAway™ monitor-keyboard combination: It's easier for most people to use, and it reduces the risk of command errors in hazardous industrial and laboratory settings.
The new CyberResearch® GFM 1501 FoldAway units pack a 15" LCD color monitor, full-travel 105-key Windows® keyboard, and an intuitive 3-button trackball into a steel rack drawer that fits in only 1U (1.75") of rack height. The bright monitor throws 250 nits of light at a contrast ratio of 350:1, a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, and 16M colors. It turns off automatically when it is folded down into the tray. The monitor accepts ordinary analog VGA input signals; there's no need for a special graphics card.
The GFM 1501 comes with a 6-foot KVM cable that connects to your PC. Optional cables up to 25 feet long are also available. The steel enclosure has a built-in handle and ball-bearing slides for smooth pull-out action. A cable guide protects cables in the rear of the unit, and a keylock limits access.
In addition to rack-mount KVMs and display/keyboard combos — now shipping from stock — CyberResearch, Inc., also offers panel-mount and rack-mount PCs, as well as CPU cards, displays, data-acquisition, and motion-control systems.
