RIA452 Digital Process with Pump Control and Batch FunctionsFeaturing a 7-digit, 14-segment, multi-colored Liquid Crystal display
June 28, 2005, Greenwood, Indiana - Endress+Hauser, Inc. announces the new RIA452 digital process display and monitor. The RIA452 is a digital process display unit in a panel mounted housing for monitoring and displaying analog measured values with pump control and batch functions.
The RIA452 features a 7-digit, 14-segment, multi-colored liquid crystal display, with universal inputs and up to eight relay outputs for pump control functionality. The basic unit comes with analog current input (o or 4 to 20mA), which can also be supplied as an instrinsically safe input when the unit is to be used in hazardous area applications. The unit is fitted with two loop power supplies as a standard. The largest of these can supply 250mA at 24VDC (i.e., powering 4-wire field instruments).
The RIA452 comes with 4 digital status inputs. Should one of the controlled devices fail the process display would indicate this, safeguarding plant security. The RIA452 can be supplied with eight relays, as an option - allowing solutions for complex applications.
