Pacific Bearing Introduces the New Redi-Rail V-Guide, a Medium Load Capacity Linear Bearing Guide System

New wheel and track based system offers a cost effective linear bearing alternative, especially suitable for harsh industrial environments.

Pacific Bearing Company, a Roscoe, IL based manufacturer of linear bearing components and systems, introduces the “V-Guide System” to the Redi-Rail product family. Consisting of 4 sizes of precision V grooved wheels and hardened steel raceways, the new products are available in both carbon steel and stainless steel, with stainless steel mounting bushings. Track is available with pre-drilled mounting holes, in lengths up to 20 feet.

The V shaped way configuration is inherently self cleaning, due to the slight velocity gradient produced by the change in wheel diameter over the wheel to track contact patch. Particulate contamination is effectively swept from the interface zone, to provide long travel life in harsh applications such as paper converting machinery. The wheels are permanently lubricated, and feature dual row ball bearing construction, for long life and quiet operation.
