August 4, 2005 - Utilizing ULV Intel® Celeron® M processor with Intel® 852GM North Bridge chipset, Model NA-0043 provides four 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports. It supports LAN-bypass feature for abnormal status as well as different bypass levels such as power, BIOS boot, OS, and applications program failures. For system log-ins with monitoring and building control proxy, unit has space for 2.5 in. hard drive for software porting. Embedded OS can be stored on optional CompactFlash™ type-II card.

The NA-0043 meets the critical demand for hardware platforms that are able to handle this type of bandwidth. The platform has a lower total cost of ownership (TCO) from a networking performance point of view, and can also be used as a VPN gateway, network bandwidth controller, SSL, firewall, IDS/IPS, and more.

The NA-0043 network appliance platform makes outstanding use of the ULV (Ultra Low Voltage) Intel® Celeron® M processor with an Intel® 852GM North Bridge chipset. It supports up to a total of four 10/100Mbps Ethernet ports and supports extreme data transaction performance in a network layer. The platform is optimized best for data communication and it can be configured to fit different customer requirements accordingly.

The NA-0043 supports a LAN-bypass feature for abnormal status. It supports different by-pass levels with this feature such as power, BIOS boot, OS and application program failures. “The software provider can decide to keep connections between two specific network segments if the devices fail,” said Philip Wei, Product Manager of AXIOMTEK’s Industrial PC Division.

For system log-ins with monitoring and building control proxy, the NA-0043 has space for a 2.5” hard drive for software porting by software solution providers. If needed, the embedded OS (operating system) can be stored on an optional CompactFlashTM type-II card. A security VPN co-processor adapter can be added through a Mini PCI socket. Powerful enclosure management features include BIOS redirection to COM port and LCD indicators for link activity and network transfer rates.

The NA-0043 is an ultra low power, mobile, small form factor, and easily integrated platform for internet-enabled devices. This intelligent terminal network node can support data transactions and critical processes. It is a great alternative for mobile applications, such as on-line logistics, on-site services like airlines and railways, on-site inspections like manufacturing system, on-site inventory like warehouse service, and more.
