July 29, 2005 - Intended for programmable temperature control and preheating of dispense materials, DL Syringe Heater is available in 10 and 30 cc sizes, and operates at 24 V up to 65 W. Unit is precision engineered from aluminum to conduct heat directly to syringe, while non-conductive mounting prevents transfer of heat to valve or motor. When combined with DL HY-FLOâ„¢ Valve, Syringe Heater provides complete solution for large-volume liquid dispensing applications.

New DL Technology Syringe Heater Ensures Consistent Material Viscosity in Heated Dispense Applications

HAVERHILL, MA – DL Technology, LLC® announces the new DL Syringe Heater for programmable temperature control and preheating of dispense materials. The heater ensures consistent material viscosity in precision applications, such as flip chip underfill and encapsulation. When combined with the DL HY-FLOTM Valve, the Syringe Heater provides a complete solution for large-volume liquid dispensing applications.

The DL Syringe Heater is precision engineered from aluminum to conduct heat directly to the syringe, while its non-conductive mounting prevents the transfer of heat to the valve or motor. The Syringe Heater is available in both 10 CC and 30 CC sizes, and operates at 24 Volts (up to 65W). The Syringe Heater is compatible with existing DL wiring for quick and easy integration.

The DL HY-FLO dispensing valve is ideal for large-volume electronics, medical device, and electro-mechanical assembly applications. The HY-FLO Valve provides precise material control and repeatability by maintaining a consistent temperature. An embedded thermocouple offers closed-loop temperature control in a range of ambient to 100º C, compensating for changes in the thermal environment that may lead to process variations. The HY-FLO Valve features an advanced plastic body that prevents heat migration to the gantry and motor.

DL Technology provides dispensing solutions for electronics assembly, semiconductor packaging, electro-mechanical assembly, and medical device applications. Through its valve technology, controllers, custom needle design, and valve accessories, the company provides a total solution for micro-volume dispensing and superior material control.
