Barrier System configures to meet plant safety needs.
July 27, 2005 - Constructed of extruded polyvinylchloride (PVC), GuardRite® EX3 Barrier System provides separation for pedestrian walkways, work areas, and storage areas. Double rail system consists of 7 in. high x 3 in. wide x 9 ft 6 in. long PVC rails with safety striping supported by 5 in. dia 11-gauge steel posts. Rails provide high visibility and absorb incidental impacts from material handling equipment, while posts withstand 200 lb of force from any direction.

New Barrier System Provides Separation for Plant Walkways, Work Areas, Storage Areas
MILWAUKEE--The Rite-Hite Aftermarket Corporation introduced the GuardRite® EX3 Barrier System today which provides clear separation for pedestrian walkways, work areas and storage areas.
The unique GuardRite EX3 is constructed from extruded polyvinylchloride (PVC) and is modular in design which allows the system to be easily modified for most plant applications.
“After seeing the frustrations some customers experience with traditional steel railing, we have developed an alternative solution for separating areas in facilities,” Rite-Hite Aftermarket President and CEO Paul Maly said. “The GuardRite EX3 is already improving the safety of plants across the country.”
The standard GuardRite EX3 Barrier System is available in a 43-inch high double rail system and comes complete with attachment and anchoring hardware. White 7-inch high by 3-inch wide by 9-foot 6-inches long PVC rails with safety striping provide high visibility while absorbing incidental impacts from material handling equipment.
Safety yellow powder coated 5-inch diameter 11-gauge steel posts provide Rite-Hite Aftermarket GuardRite EX3--2 support for the rails and make a rugged barrier that is able to withstand 200-pounds of force from any direction.
The modularity and simple installation of the GuardRite EX3 make it easy to construct and adapt to many configurations. PVC rails easily slide together to make a four-rail system or a 43-inch high full-wall system. Two anchor bolts mount the posts to the plant floor and installation is complete minimizing disruption to your operation.
