Nonmagnetic Optical Tables

BOSTON, MA — Kinetic Systems, Inc., announces the availability of Nonmagnetic Optical Tables for applications where magnetic fields caused by equipment or experiments could receive interference from a ferrous tabletop.

An option for each performance grade of standard KSI optical table, the nonmagnetic tables are constructed using industry-standard nonmagnetic stainless steel or aluminum. Nonmagnetic tabletops have an epoxy-bonded honeycomb core featuring the proprietary SPILLPRUF™ design, whereby entire rows of mounting holes are sealed to protect the core from accidental spills and simplify cleanup.

KSI Nonmagnetic Optical Tables are engineered to exacting standards to consistently provide flat, stiff, highly damped surfaces with high natural frequencies. Standard sizes range up to 6’ x 20’ with thicknesses from 8” to 36”. Five basic models cover the complete range of applications, from very high precision work to everyday laboratory procedures. All nonmagnetic tables offer broadband damping and are Class 100 Cleanroom compatible. Class 10 is available as an option.
KSI Nonmagnetic Optical Tables can be customized for a variety of applications. Available in special lengths, widths, and shapes, they can include cutouts, notches, and accessories such as laser ports, shelves, tabletop enclosures, retractable casters, and modular splices for joining tables in “L”, “U”, and “T” configurations.

Kinetic Systems, Inc., is a leader in the design, manufacture, and marketing of vibration isolation equipment, optical tables, and related components used in a wide range of industries worldwide, including research and development, quality control, laboratories, and semiconductor manufacturing.
