Pre-Tempered High-Carbon and Alloy Strip Steel Features Improved Flatness And Greater Part Uniformity -- Dramatically Reducing Failure from Irregular Parts

Kenilworth, NJ: Pre-tempered heat treated, high-carbon and alloy strip steel manufactured by Blue Blade Steel provides automotive part manufacturers with flat, uniform, high performance parts that resist stress, distortion and product failure.

The pre-tempering process offered by Blue Blade Steel reduces part-failure problems associated with expensive and brand-damaging product warranty recalls by eliminating the need for post production heat treating.

Blue Blade Steel President, Jeremiah Shaw, reports “Many of our customers have dramatically cut costs and increased output by reducing the number of processing steps, rejecting fewer irregular parts, lowering shipping costs and decreasing inventories and material handling time.”

By contrast, manufacturers who rely on traditional secondary post production heat treating must deal with higher manufacturing costs, shipping time delays and greater material waste resulting from cost increases in redundant processing, outsource shipping and return cycle delays and a percentage of weakened products that do not pass the second inspection.
