New, Low-Cost Little David Case Former Saves Money, Space, and Time in the Packaging Line

South Canaan, Pa., July 13, 2005 - Loveshaw, the industry’s leading manufacturer of packaging and coding systems, introduces the Little David CF-5 semi-automatic case former. The CF-5 saves manufacturers money, floor space and time by sealing up to 15 cases per minute, depending on operator performance and range of case sizes.

In addition to its speed, the CF-5 saves operators time by requiring minimal operator training. It’s easy to install and most changeovers are ‘tool less,’ requiring less than a minute to complete. The CF-5 improves productivity by resetting itself automatically to receive the next case blank. In addition, time-draining jam’s common with air-logic-driven case formers, are eliminated with the CF-5’s advanced PLC control processor.

The CF-5 expands Loveshaw’s Little David line of high-performance case formers. The machine folds and holds bottom flaps of all RSC corrugated boxes - from double wall to recycled material. It’s also built to withstand any industrial environment with heavy-duty, all-steel construction.

The machine may be used alone or integrated with any case sealer in the industry as part of a complete packing/sealing station. The machines’ leg adjustments slide and lock in place to accommodate the wide range of case sealer heights in use today.

With the CF-5, manufacturers eliminate jams, unnecessary labor, and hand-erecting boxes. For more information on how to order the new Little David CF-5 Case Former, contact vburke@loveshaw.com or call 800-572-3434.
