Welding capacity is delivered by Robin/Subaru® overhead cam engine, or Honda® overhead valve engine, both rated at 9 hp. Single-range output control lets user dial in correct weld settings, while built-in circuit breakers protect tools and unit from power overload. Enclosed in tube-frame roll cage, Power Arc can be carried by 2 people anywhere power or welding is needed.

Cleveland, OH – Lincoln Electric’s new Power Arc™ 5500 generator / welder generates 5,500 watts of surge AC generator power and 125 amps of AC welding amperage in a package that weighs 75 pounds less than the competition.
The Power Arc 5500’s high output and light weight make it ideal for home, farm, contracting, maintenance and small commercial applications. Two tools in one, the Power Arc can handle many common AC power needs during a power outage, as well handle AC welding for a wide variety of maintenance, construction and repair projects. Offsite, it can power lights, tools, heaters, pumps and appliances – anywhere, anytime.
The 125-amp welding capacity is delivered by the consumer’s choice of either a Robin/Subaru® overhead cam engine, or a Honda® overhead valve engine – both rated at nine horsepower. Its 125 amps of AC stick welding power is ideal for 3/32-inch and 1/8-inch diameter electrodes.
Enclosed in a rugged tube-frame roll cage, the Power Arc can be carried easily by two people anywhere power or welding is needed. A single-range output control makes it easy to dial in correct weld settings. And, built-in circuit breakers help protect your tools and the unit from power overload.
