July 19, 2005 - With 40 gal tank and variable pressure delivery pump, SP-1000C delivers 1,000 gal/day of pH balanced drinking water. Self-cleaning backwash carbon filter holds 40 lb of carbon and removes chlorine, sediment, bad tastes, and odor. Air vent filter and safety overflow prevent airborne contamination, and single RO membrane can be replaced without removing housing. Unit requires 26 x 22 in. of space, 4 water connections, and 110 Vac for installation.

The Perfect Cup of Coffee Starts with the SpectraPure® SP-1000C
SpectraPure’s® SP-1000C is the source for water that satisfies the needs of hotels, restaurants and coffee houses desiring to provide their customers with a perfect cup of coffee. The SP-1000C uses proprietary technology (patent pending) to balance the hardness and pH of the water (unlike conventional RO systems) providing exceptional tasting water for brewing or drinking. The SP-1000C will deliver 1000 gallons-per-day at a delivery rate that is three times faster than standard bladder systems, while using 80% less water than bladder systems.
SpectraPure’s® SP-1000C is designed for easy maintenance. The system uses industry standard components with easy access to replace filters and components. The single RO membrane can be replaced in minutes without the need of removing the membrane housing and fittings.
Additional features of the SP-1000C are the true 40-gallon capacity storage tank. Output pressure is constantly maintained with a variable pressure delivery pump, rather than the failure prone bladder tanks used on most standard systems. The all stainless steel frame is rust free and designed for easy installation. This design allows for easy retrofit of existing systems, requiring only a 26” by 22” footprint, four water connections, and the availability of 110 VAC.
The SP-1000C incorporates an air vent filter and safety overflow that prevents contamination from airborne bacteria. There is also a 1.0 cubic foot automatic backwash carbon filter that holds 40 lbs of carbon. This self cleaning filter removes chlorine, sediment, bad tastes and odor for years compared to carbon block filters, which last only months.
Other applications for the SP-1000C include grocery store produce centers, reconstituting juice concentrates, micro-brewing and wine making, and bread proofing.
