NORCROSS, July 6, 2005 - Hitachi Power Tools today announced its newest addition to the air compressor market, the EC2510E featuring a cast iron pump, base plate integrated control panel and oversized oil level sight glass to withstand demanding use on the jobsite.
Hitachi's newest air compressor combines contractor grade quality with simplified operation. The premium cast iron pump ensures consistent, durable performance under extreme conditions on the jobsite. The base plate integrated control panel's primary purpose is to protect the gauge, regulator and plumbing. In addition to protection, the control panel centralizes all controls making the EC2510E easy to operate by anyone in the field. The oversized oil level sight glass allows at-a-glance oil level maintenance. Added features that make the EC2510E the premium air compressor in the market include; pneumatic throttle control, over-sized flywheel and head scoop, braided stainless steel exhaust, shielded cross over tube and ball valve tank drains.
The pneumatic engine throttle control eliminates common failure of throttle cables through crimping or breaking. In addition, the pump is cooled by an over-sized flywheel and an engineered head scoop that directs flywheel air flow over the pump head where most of the heat collects.
