Load Cells come in miniature and subminiature models.


June 30, 2005 - Available in tension and compression models, load cells cover capacities from 50 g to 10,000 lb and come in sizes as small as 0.13 in. high x ½ in. dia. Units may be incorporated into existing machines and are suited for space-restricted areas. Featuring all-welded construction, products are available with accuracies to 0.1% and have operating temperature range of -65 to +250°F. Standard output is mV/V.

Miniature & Subminiature Load Cells

COLUMBUS, OH., June 21, 2005 - Honeywell [NYSE: HON] Sensing and Control Sensotec family of miniature and subminiature load cells deliver big performance in a small package. These miniature units are available in tension and compression models and cover a wide range of capacities from 50 grams to 10,000 pounds. With sizes as small as 0.13" high and ½" in diameter, these units may be incorporated into existing machines or any space-restricted area. And the rugged all-welded construction insures reliable operation in even the most demanding situations.

Miniature load cells are available with accuracies to 0.1% and offer a standard operating temperature of -65° to 250°F. A variety of temperature compensation options are available for more severe applications. Standard output is mV/V, with high level output available via in-line amplifiers.

Applications include force monitoring on flight simulators and in a variety of robotics and animated characters, industrial quality control monitoring for parts joining and testing, or anywhere consistent forces are required.
