Stepper Motor offers linear motion in rotary size package.

July 7, 2005 - Available with outside dimensions of 25 and 35 mm, LINEARSTEP® motor employs special type of thread spec and neodymium magnet rotor. Typical applications include X/Y table laboratory systems, medical pump devices, semiconductor wafer handling machines, optical camera systems, and antenna communication devices.

LINEARSTEP®: Linear-Type Stepper Motor

Nippon Pulse America, Inc., Radford, VA – (June 24, 2005) Nippon Pulse introduces its newest motor today, the LINEARSTEP®.

The LINEARSTEP® offers linear motion in a rotary size package. LINEARSTEP® is available with outside dimensions of 25mm and 35mm. The motors’ linear shaft movement allows the customer to design a simple system at a fraction of the cost of conventional rotary stepper motors. The same drive circuit that drives our tin-can type steppers can drive the LINEARSTEP®. The LINEARSTEP® has a long life and durability due to the ball bearing support and the sturdy motor case. Additionally, by employing a special type of thread spec and an enhanced Neodymium magnet rotor the LINEARSTEP® is able to offer high thread efficiency and a large driving force.

Typical applications for the LINEARSTEP are X/Y table laboratory systems, medical pump devices, semiconductor wafer handling machines, optical camera systems, and antenna communication devices.
