(Cleveland, OH): Technical Machine Products (TMP), a global supplier of new and rebuilt presses and mixers for the rubber and composites industries, is introducing a complete new line of machinery for molding rubber, silicone and composites.
The new line includes Maxi-Jet™ Rubber Injection Systems and Maxim™ Hydraulic Compression and Vacuum Presses Maxi-Jet™ injection presses are available in a range of sizes up to 10,000 cc, and the Maxim™ presses are available with clamping forces up to 1000 tons and platens up to 42”. Custom designs are available.
Following and extensive search, TMP has formed partnerships with principle and secondary Asian press companies which manufacture lines of rubber molding machinery, primarily for the Asian market. Under a new agreement TMP has become the exclusive representative to sell and service Asian-built presses for customers in North, Central, and South America. TMP will also distribute these presses globally under the Maxim™ and Maxi-Jet™ Brands.
According to Ted Soberay, president of TMP, “These new partnerships enable TMP to offer a truly unique line of high quality machinery at low prices, while also offering our reputable customer-driven service and spare parts program. With the addition of these new lines, no other company is better equipped to meet both the economic and technical needs of customers in this industry.”
Soberay added that the company will continue to design and manufacture its traditional line of “Techni-Mold™” presses, “Techni-Mix™” tilt mixers and “Vacu-Jet™” vacuum injection molding systems. “We now have the resources to outsource, design, or make internally the best presses, components, hydraulics, or controls as the molding process and budget requires. We can provide machines with dependable basic functionality or custom-designed systems for the most difficult and demanding applications. Our goal is to offer the greatest machinery versatility of any company in the world.”
New TMP Sales and Service centers are also being established in Europe as part of TMP’s global expansion plans, according to John Clark, TMP vice president. TMP sells in North and South America through an established sales network, and in Asia through its Hong Kong office.
