Software facilitates call center management.


July 6, 2005 - Telegrator CMA works with SMART Emergency Telephones to provide complete security package. It will receive calls and call out to standard analog telephones, emergency telephones, and auto-dial telephones. Mapping program locates each emergency and zooms in to specific phone as it communicates with call center to allow immediate identification. Call recording, playback, and logs enable call center to replay any conversation received through CMA software.

Telegrator - The Latest Call Management Software Provides Extra Features for Security Area Telephones

GAI-Tronics, the leader in rugged and security communications, now offers a call centre package for campus, parking, transit, and security applications. Telegator C.M.A. (Call Management Application) is a PC-based application that works with GAI-Tronics’ S.M.A.R.T. Emergency Telephones to provide a complete security package.

The C.M.A. will receive calls, and call out to standard analogue telephones, emergency telephones, and auto-dial telephones; however, any phones less than GAI-Tronics® S.M.A.R.T. telephones will provide only limited functions.

GAI-Tronics carefully considered all the aspects of a Security Dispatch Office in the development of the Telegator application. With nearly 20 years' experience providing rugged emergency communications, C.M.A. was implemented to incorporate the needs and functions of:

• The Security Office Despatch Operator of a college campus or airport parking service, managing calls and multi-tasking between the emergency phone system and the police, fire, and ambulance dispatch radio system

• A caller, whether the caller has a flat tyre, needs emergency medical assistance, needs an escort from late night class, or is a nurse coming off second shift

• The Telecom manager, whose job is based on 100% reliability 24/7, and maintains the call logs and call records in the event of a court case

Telegator includes a mapping program to locate each emergency or help point telephone. The map zooms in to a specific phone as it calls in to the call centre to allow immediate identification.

CCTV systems can be integrated to provide a video link to each telephone area. This will be initiated as the call is answered so that security can check the situation before dispatching the appropriate help.

The software runs on Windows XP and is compatible with Graphical User Interface or Touch-screen. The screen provides instructions for the call centre to guide them through each call, (these can be individually set for each telephone location).

Call Recording, Playback & Logs give the call centre the opportunity to replay any conversation received through the C.M.A. software.

In addition, the C.M.A. easily integrates into the telecom manager's LAN or WAN network through VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) adapters. This offers the Dispatch Office to be set up with little or no additional wiring.
