Bewator Releases the Latest Version of its Modular Security Management Software
Bewator has launched the latest version of its modular security management software - Granta SQL.
Granta SQL comprises core access control software with separately licensable application software to meet specific user requirements, based on industry standard Microsoft SQL database.
A main advantage with the Granta SQL is that it integrates easily with Bewator’s Eventys DVR (Digital Video Recording) platform to allow for event triggered video recordings. Other new features include database partitioning, which is great for multi-tenanted buildings, for example, and a counter monitor function that is ideal for managing security for large public access areas, such as recording entrances to public stadiums.
The main benefit of the Granta system is that it enables users to connect multiple PC workstations via their network, allowing for distributed monitoring and control of the system across up to 10,000 separate remote sites. To facilitate management control, the security system also provides comprehensive reports to support decision-making.
Granta has been specifically designed with the operator in mind, making the management of access control systems simple and straightforward. The software is available in multiple languages and is fully password protected to allow the system to be used by many different levels of operator, according to their function and seniority.
