Checkpoint Systems Newly Released Pinnacle V4.0 Delivers Open Architecture, Scalability, Modularity and Intuitiveness
Las Vegas, NV (April 6, 2005) – Checkpoint Systems, Inc., [NYSE: CKP] is demonstrating the latest version of the company’s powerful access control solution – Pinnacle V4.0 – here at ISCW 2005. Pinnacle V4.0 features the industry’s highest levels of open architecture, scalability, modularity and intuitiveness to provide unrivalled access control capabilities along with the lowest cost of ownership. In addition, this latest version of Pinnacle provides seamless integration with Stopware, Inc.’s PassagePoint providing a comprehensive enterprise-level access control solution.

Checkpoint Systems’ Pinnacle V4.0 seamlessly integrates Stopware’s PassagePoint Professional and Enterprise V4.5 visitor management solutions. PassagePoint V4.5 provides unprecedented levels of visitor management control, system utilization and IT infrastructure compatibility along with a unique notification feature called SecureView™ that displays government and custom-generated watch lists. Additional features of PassagePoint include: visitor pre-registration via the Internet; support of LDAP protocols and integration with SQL and Oracle database systems; badge customization with the ability to add 2D barcodes; and rapid registration for quick and easy scanning of passports, drivers’ licenses and business cards.
Upgrades to the Checkpoint Systems’ LANLink™ controller for Pinnacle V4.0 include 10/100 base-T communications with 3DES 168-bit encryption for IT compatibility and security; DHCP supports ease of installation by automatically assigning IP addresses; and web-based diagnostics for analysis of each controller from any networked computer.
Pinnacle V4.0 and LANLink accommodate a wide range of access control applications, supporting the unique needs of corporate campuses, schools and universities, health care facilities, government offices, industrial locations and multi-tenant environments.
