June 23, 2005 - Water-based Craquelure/Texture Coating adds dimension when applied on top of poster or 4-color lithographed print. Applied using brush or paintbrush roller, texture is added to make print look hand-painted. When using different applicator, print looks like it was painted on canvas. Available in matte, semi-gloss, and glossy finishes, coating comes in quarts, gallons, 5-gal pails, and 55-gal drums.

Gluefast Introduces Craquelure / Texture Coating

A value added coating for picture and poster framers

The Gluefast Company announces our new Craquelure / Texture Coating. The water based acrylic coating adds dimension when applied on top of a poster or 4-color lithographed print. When applied using a brush or paintbrush roller, texture is added to make the print look "hand painted". Using a different applicator can make the print look like it was painted on canvas!

Gluefast also features a top coating machine to apply this coating for high production rates. Gluefast has marketing samples of the coating applied to a print that shows what the Craquelure Coating looks like. Samples of the coating for testing are also available. Contact Gluefast for details.
There are three finishes available: matte, semi-gloss, and glossy. Packaging for the product is quarts, gallons, five-gallon pails, and 55-gallon drums.
