Cooper Hand Tools Introduces Nicholson® Pro Series 4-in-1 High Tension Hacksaw
RALEIGH, NC – MARCH 2005 – Cooper Hand Tools has introduced its Nicholson® Pro Series 4-In-1 High Tension Hacksaw. This new product features blades and a frame that can be configured in four distinct ways: one for general use, another for making flush cuts, a third for work in tight spaces, and a fourth for making a variety of inside cuts as a sturdy jab saw.
The versatile tool in standard configuration is a 90° hacksaw featuring high tension technology which allows the user to tension the blade to as much as 30,000 PSI. The blade can be quickly positioned to a 45° angle for making flush cuts. When working in tight spaces, the front section of the frame flips up out of the way and the blade is repositioned to provide a low profile configuration. Finally, the hacksaw converts into a sturdy jab saw for making inside cuts. The hacksaw offers increased durability by utilizing a heavy duty reciprocal saw blade (included) which is much stronger than hacksaw blades typically used in convertible tools.
The 4-In-1 Hacksaw also provides magnetic blade storage for an extra hacksaw blade or for the reciprocal saw blade. It also features cushioned rubber grips for better control and comfort and reduced slippage.
The new hacksaw is expected to retail for approximately $25 and will be available at participating independent and chain hardware stores, at specialty stores and other retail outlets including Internet retailers, and through industrial distributors.
