June 15, 2005 - With footprints as small as 0.95 in. long x 0.72 in. dia, ZST1624N Long Life series is designed for applications that require PCB-mounted solenoids with up to 1 million actuations. Continuous-duty configurations are available with forces up to 1.75 lb @ 0.010 in. and 0.15 lb @ 0.060 in. With overall unit weight of 2 oz, products accommodate stroke lengths to 0.060 in. and come standard with Class F insulation systems and PCB mounting pins.

Long Life Linear Solenoids for PCB Applications

The ZST1624N Long Life series of linear solenoids has been designed to meet the requirements of demanding applications where PCB mounted solenoids with up to a million actuations are required. Additional features include extended operating temperature ranges of -35°C to +66°C, and footprints as small as 0.95" length by 0.72" diameter.

Continuous duty configurations are available with forces up to 1.75lbs. @ 0.010" and 0.15 lbs. @ 0.060" with an overall unit weight of 2oz. Stroke lengths up to 0.060" can be accomodated. Class F insulation systems are standard. PCB mounting pins are standard.

Long Life solenoids are well suited to mission critical AC or DC applications such as physical security, circuit protection and fault detection. Prices are below $3 in high volumes.
