Megger Releases Fastest, Most Accurate Ratio Test Set Available

The latest Megger Transformer Turns Ratio Test Set measures the widest turns ratio range in the industry (45,000:1), and provides the highest accuracy (0.1 percent) to ensure the fastest, most reliable test possible. The Three-Phase TTR features fully automatic operation with built-in storage and downloading capabilities, and powerful software for remote control operations. Quick and reliable, it is ideal for all single person testing jobs.

Designed to measure the turns ratio of power, instrument and distribution transformers in a substation or manufacturing environment, the Three-Phase Automatic TTR is at its best when performing in environments where testing must be performed quickly and without error. The unit also measures excitation current (to 0.1 mA) to provide valuable information about a transformer's core and phase angle deviation with the resolution of 0.1 minutes (equal to 1/600 of a degree).

Also unique is the instrument's "Quick Test" mode, which provides a fast determination of the turns ratio for all single and three-phase transformers.

The Three-Phase TTR comes complete with ComLink software, a new powerful Windows-based software program that includes a database management tool allowing users to save up to 200 three-phase test results and recall them as needed. With ComLink users can upload data from the TTR, completely program a test routine, and then save it under the transformer ID number for later analysis.

With six user selectable languages and three user selectable standards including ANSI, I EC and Australian, the test set also meets IEC 1010 and other safety standards including CSA and UL.

Megger is one of the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of electrical test and measurement equipment. With research, engineering and manufacturing facilities in the USA and UK, combined with sales and technical support in most countries, Megger is uniquely placed to meet the needs of its customers worldwide.
