It is the only highly basic flux on the market that is classified to AWS H4 requirements for low diffusible hydrogen levels – under 4 mL/100 grams of weld metal.
Typical applications include narrow gap applications requiring superior deep- groove slag removal; multiple-pass mild steel and low alloy steel weldments requiring low temperature impact toughness; stress-relieved applications specifying superior mechanical properties; and step cooling applications.
