Fingerprint Terminal provides flexible biometric solution.

June 9, 2005 - Utilizing optical sensors, Model Zodiac 4000 provides biometric solution that enables users to be enrolled individually with fingerprint-only, PIN/fingerprint, card/fingerprint, and PIN/card/fingerprint privileges. Unit operates in stand-alone or server-based configurations with up to 255 networked terminals and support for up to 10,000 users. On-board lock relay provides basic access control, while Wiegand output connects to access control systems.

Cansec Introduces the Zodiac 4000 Fingerprint Terminal

Cansec's Zodiac 4000 Fingerprint Terminals utilize durable optical sensors and numerous configuration options to provide a completely flexible biometric solution. Users can be enrolled individually with “fingerprint-only”, “PIN + fingerprint”, “card + fingerprint”, and even “PIN + card + fingerprint” privileges.

Zodiac 4000 can operate in both stand-alone mode and server-based configurations with up to 255 networked terminals and support for up to 10,000 users. Zodiac 4000 features an on-board lock relay for basic access control, while a Wiegand output can be used to connect to most access control systems.

Up to 1,000 users are supported in “fingerprint-only” mode for a credential-less, high security access control.

Other unique features include built-in TCP/IP and Wiegand interface, voice prompts, intercom, and a large LCD display making the Zodiac 4000 Terminal the most flexible and reliable biometric solution on the market today.
