Dispensing System aids in grease transport and disposal.
June 7, 2005 - GOLD (Grease One-Way Logistics and Distribution) System helps industrial companies and trucking fleets handle, transport, and dispose of grease. Placed on top of maneuverable transport pallet and stacking frame, multi-layered Fluid-Bag Flexi container holds up to 1,800 lb of grease and prevents ingress of contaminants. Protective container gradually collapses as grease is discharged through automated dispensing unit and may be disposed of after use.

ExxonMobil Introduces Improved SYSTEM for Dispensing and Transporting Grease
FAIRFAX, VA, May 24, 2005 -- Providing industrial companies and trucking fleets with a convenient way to handle, transport and dispose of grease, ExxonMobil today announced the introduction of its GOLD (Grease One-Way Logistics and Distribution) System.
At the heart of ExxonMobil's GOLD System is the protective, Fluid-Bag Flexi container that holds up to 1,800 pounds of grease -- the equivalent of nearly five typical grease drums - and prevents contaminants, such as air and water, from entering the container. Placed on top of an easy to maneuver transport pallet and stacking frame, the multi-layered Fluid-Bag Flexi container functions much like a tube of toothpaste, gradually collapsing as grease is discharged through the automated dispensing unit.
When the grease reservoir within the bag is used up, the disposable Fluid-Bag Flexi container can easily be disposed of, eliminating the cost and effort of dealing with returnable drums or totes.
"Today, most companies rely on heavy steel drums, steel (or plastic) totes or permanent bulk tanks drums, to handle, store and transport grease," said Michael Dionisio, grease advisor, ExxonMobil Lubricants & Specialties. "With our new GOLD System and the benefits of its Fluid-Bag Flexi container, maintenance managers can eliminate the costs and time needed to handle and transport drums or bulk tanks, which often occupy significant areas of valuable floor space and complicate inventory management."
