Brushless DC Kit Motor features smooth operation.

May 20, 2005 - Suited for applications sensitive to torque ripple, model 000308-02 produces cogging torque of no greater than 1 oz-in. at 60 rpm. Smooth running characteristics make unit eligible for use in high-resolution printing, scanning, and positioning applications. Proprietary encapsulation process protects motor windings in harsh environments. Measuring 3.6 x 1.25 in., product has peak torque of 200 oz-in. and is offered with drive-specific commutation and mounting options.

Servo Magnetics Inc. - Canoga Park, CA—The new 000308-02 low cogging brushless DC kit motor from Servo Magnetics Inc. is designed for applications that are sensitive to torque ripple. The smooth running characteristics of this motor make it an ideal candidate for high resolution printing, scanning, and positioning applications. At 60 rpm the motor produces a cogging torque of no greater than 1 oz-in. Servo Magnetics, Inc. uses a proprietary encapsulation process that protects the motor windings in harsh environments. The compact design measuring 3.6” X 1.25” creates a peak torque of 200 oz-in.
