Hose Reels offer corrosion resistance.
May 19, 2005 - Made of die-cast aluminum, hose reel contains powder-coated aluminum and corrosion-resistant internal components. It is effective in high-moisture areas, including marine and paper mill applications. Stainless steel reel is suited for areas involving food handling, corrosive environments, metals processing, mines, and general manufacturing. Alemite Offers Aluminum, Corrosion-Resistant Reel
FORT MILL, S.C. – Alemite has introduced into their Hose Reel Product Line, a new non-stainless steel corrosion-resistant reel, made of die-cast aluminum. This new product complements the company’s greatly expanded hose reel line.
“Alemite’s new reels give customers more options to choose from, based on what reels are best suited for their applications,” says Rex Burgner, product manager at Alemite. “In cases where a stainless steel reel is not necessary for a customer’s application, the corrosion-resistant aluminum reel is a high-quality alternative at a lower cost than the stainless steel.”
The corrosion-resistant aluminum reel contains powder-coated aluminum and corrosion-resistant internal components. The reel is particulary effective in high-moisture areas, including marine and paper mill applications.
Alemite has also added a new stainless-steel reel that is suitable for use in any areas involving food handling, corrosive environments, metals processing, mines and general manufacturing. The reel offers quick breakdown for easy cleaning in any of these environments.
Additional specialty reels added to Alemite’s line include a hand-crank reel designed to provide trouble-free performance and long product life; a heavy duty electric cord reel that has one of the highest amperage ratings on the market; a standard duty electric cord reel designed for reduced shock hazard risk in tough industrial use; a lightweight economy electric cord reel designed for durability and power; and a standard duty light reel designed to illuminate work areas with a 10-watt fluorescent light and a 50-foot cord to expand access within a work area.
