May 13, 2005 - Compact, inline, Mahle Automatic Back-Flushing Filter handles volumes up to 175 gpm and filtration to 10 micron.
Utilizing cyclonic chamber to separate solids from coolant prior to reaching filter, final filtration occurs when coolant is forced into center of filter and discharged. Backflushing of self-cleaning filter is initiated by fluid pressures as it is rotated by gear motor. Solid particle residue trapped in collecting cone is then drained into waste container.

Reduce Costs and Save Manpower with Mahle Automatic Back-Flushing Filters
MADISON HEIGHTS, MI - (April 15, 2005) - The demand for cleaner coolant in the high-pressure cooling systems of today's machine tools can now be achieved economically through the use of Mahle Automatic Back-Flushing Filters. These filters handle volumes as high as 175 GPM and filtration to 10 micron. Operation is achieved automatically and does not require filtration related maintenance or waste disposal.
A cyclonic chamber is utilized in this compact inline filter to separate solids from the coolant prior to reaching the filter element. Final filtration occurs when the coolant is forced from the outside of the element into the center, and then discharged. Automatic back-flushing of the self-cleaning element is initiated by fluid pressures as the element is rotated by a gear motor. Solid particle residue is trapped in the collecting cone and drained into a waste container, eliminating the cost of disposable media and the need for filtration-related maintenance or waste disposal.
