May 20, 2005 - Measuring 2.6 x 3.1 x .51 in., reference-powered Digital-to-Synchro Converter modules accept 14-bit natural binary angle and convert it into 3-wire synchro signal. Output is short circuit proof and current limited with transient protection and thermal cutoff. Units rated at 400 Hz have 4.5 Va load capability, while 60 Hz units feature 2 Va capability. All utilize thermally conductive encapsulant and metal top plate. Operating temperatures are 0–70°C or -55 to +90°C.

New Reference Powered .5 Inch High Digital to Synchro Converter
Computer Conversions Corporation has introduced a series of 14 bit reference powered .5 inches high 4.5VA digital to synchro converters. These new devices only require +5VDC input power and have an internal transformer isolated outputs, even at 60Hz.
The 2.6" x 3.1" x .51 "H max. modules accept a 14 bit natural binary angle (CMOS/TIL compatible) and convert it into a 3-wire synchro signal. The output is short circuit proof, and current limited with transient protection and a thermal cutoff. The 400Hz units have a 4.5 VA load capability and the 60Hz units 2VA. All converters have an optimum thermal design utilizing thermally conductive encapsulant and metal top plate.
Part number DSPL60 requires a 115V 60Hz reference input and +5VDC @ 20ma. Operating temperature ranges are 0 to 70 Degree C or -55 C to +90 Degree C.
Prices in reasonable production quantities are less than $595. each. Delivery is stock to four weeks. Computer Conversions Corporation is located at 6 Dunton Court. East Northport, NY 11731. Phone number (631)261-3300 Fax (631)261-3308.
