Flexible Epoxy resists thermal shock and vibration.


May 12, 2005 - Duralco 4538 can be tailored to meet application requirement by varying mix ratio of resin to hardener, resulting in exact degree of flexibility needed. Product cures at room temperature, without odors, to provide thermal and mechanical shock resistance, adhesion to dissimilar substrates, and electrical and chemical resistance. Duralco 4538 will not gum up or soften at elevated temperatures and withstands thermal cycling from -100 to +300°F.

Summary

This completely variable system can be tailored to meet any application requirement just by varying the mix ratio of resin to hardener resulting in the exact degree of flexibility required for any application.

Adjustable Flexibility
Duralco 4538 is flexiblized at the molecular level and can be tailored to satisfy thousands of applications by simply adjusting the mix ratio. Simply choose the mix ratio ideal for your application, mix and apply.

Excellent Properties
Duralco 4538 easily cures at room temp., without odors, to provide outstanding bond strength, thermal and mechanical shock resistance, adhesion to dissimilar substrates, and excellent electrical and chemical resistance. Will not gum up or soften at elevated temperatures.
