Flexco's New Quad Staple Driver Speeds Belt Fastening Process
DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. April 22, 2005 - A versatile staple driver with the potential to cut installation time by 50% has been added to the line of belt fastening tools and accessories marketed by Flexco.
The company's Alligator® Ready Setâ„¢ Quad Staple Driver is designed for simultaneous installation of four staples, adding speed and consistency to the belt fastening process. The heat-treated steel driver features a wide striking surface to facilitate use with a two-lb. hammer.
After the belt is squared, cut and properly secured in the lacer, installation with the Alligator staple driver becomes a fast, simple process. Rather than driving two staples at a time with hammer strokes on a conventional driver, the Quad Driver installs four staples simultaneously; cutting the time required for this installation step in half. The versatile Alligator Quad Staple Driver can be used with existing Alligator Ready Set installation tools.
Alligator Ready Set is an easy to install fastener system that offers high strength and abrasion resistance for belt conveyors utilized in numerous industries, including packaging, food processing, agricultural harvesting, recycling and forestry.
