Exclusive MultiPort Rotary Union, the Perfect Solution for Conducting Dissimilar Fluids at High Pressures

Charlotte, NC - Duff Norton offers the HPMC Series MultiPort Rotary Union for applications requiring high pressures and more than one media. Rotary Unions or rotating joints are designed to provide a rotating seal between fluids and a revolving roll or drum. Commonly conducted media are water, hot oil, steam, chemicals, and air.

Series HPMC Rotary Unions are available with up to eight ports as standard models. Special configurations are available upon request.

Each port of the MultiPort Rotary Union is individually sealed eliminating crosstalk between channels. As the end-user clamps the slotted rotating disk into his fixture the body of the MultiPort remains in-place regardless of rotation. All MultiPort Rotary Unions are constructed of steel and are nickel plated as standard. The HPMC Series can accommodate two to eight port configurations. Operating parameters range up to 250°F, 5880 psi, and 180 RPM. Port sizes range from 1/8" to 1-1/4".

Years of service in tough field applications prove our Rotary Unions reduce production down times and require less maintenance than other types of sealing mechanisms.

Our products are widely used throughout all the process and related industries such as oil & gas extraction and refining, chemical, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, water and waste water, pulp and paper, primary metals, rubber and plastics, and fiber and textiles. Common applications are tablet coating, dryer drums, extruders, laminators, press rolls, embossers, indexing tables, filtration systems, and cooling and heating rolls. Should you have further questions regarding how our products are used, please contact us.

Since our beginning, more than 100 years ago, Duff-Norton has earned a reputation for reliable, high quality products that meet the industrial lifting, positioning and transfer needs of our worldwide customers. Both our standard and custom designed products are subjected to the same rigorous testing throughout the design process to assure maximum performance and quality.
