Magnetic stem attracts iron particles suspended in liquid, and is constructed in length that ensures it stays magnetized. NBR synthetic rubber seal is retained in radial undercut in mating face, preventing it from dropping out or from protruding when plug is tightened. Seal offers max heat resistance of 250°F.

Aluminum Magnetic Threaded Plugs with NBR Seal Available Through J.W. Winco
NEW BERLIN, WI - J.W. Winco, Inc., a leading supplier of standard industrial machine components, announced it now offers Aluminum Threaded Plugs with NBR Seal and Magnetic Stem.
These magnetic plugs are made of aluminum with a matte shot-blasted finish and laser-engraved symbols. The magnetic stem attracts iron particles that might be suspended in the liquid. The stem is of a length that makes it impossible to demagnetize itself. The seal is of NBR synthetic rubber with a maximum heat resistance of 120 degrees C (250 degrees F).
The seal is retained in a radial undercut in the mating face, preventing it from dropping out or from protruding when the plug is tightened. The design allows the seal to be made of a softer material, which offers better sealing. Plugs are available in metric pipe thread and BSPP parallel threads, and versions with Viton seals are also available.
