Digital Video Recorder offers alarm management capabilities.
April 27, 2005 - Eventys Lite 16-channel DVR is based on embedded LINUX operating system and motion compression JPEG compression engine. Audio and video storage is provided by 300 or 600 GB drive backed by up to 2 removable disk drives, providing up to 31 days recording capacity. LAN connection enables remote viewing and control of DVR and PTZ Domes. Alarms can be triggered by motion detection or alarm relay inputs; all of which can be configured to range of parameters.

Access Security specialist, Bewator, has launched Eventys Lite, a new cost effective, simple to use, mid range, 16 channel digital video recorder (DVR), based on the company’s highly successful Eventys technology.
Suitable for a wide range of applications, from retail outlets and public buildings to airports and town centres, Eventys Lite incorporates a wide range of functionality. Equipped with advanced alarm management capabilities, alarms can be triggered either by motion detection or by alarm relay inputs; all of which can be configured to a range of parameters, including time of day and weekend operation.
Eventys Lite has been designed to allow quick and simple set up, yet provides features normally only associated with high-range DVRs. At its heart is an embedded LINUX operating system and motion compression JPEG compression engine. Audio and video storage is provided by either a 300 or 600GB drive backed by up to two removable disk drives, providing up to 31 days, high quality recording capacity. The DVR is equipped with a LAN connection to enable remote viewing and control of the DVR and PTZ Domes.
