Kubota Expands the ZD-PRO Zero-Turn Mower Line

More diesel power choices for commercial users

TORRANCE, Calif. -- Kubota Tractor Corporation (KTC) has introduced the ZD-PRO 25. This new diesel powered zero turn commercial mower expands the line to three models with 21, 25 and 28 horsepower.

The ZD-PRO mowers are powered by quiet, low vibration 3-cylinder liquid-cooled Kubota diesel engines. The integral type twin hydrostatic transmission is hermetically sealed requiring no maintenance beyond an occasional fluid change. Hydraulic multi-disc wet PTO clutch, pivoting front axle and a hydraulic deck lift are standard on the ZD Series.

The seven gauge steel fabricated ZD-PRO deck offers excellent cutting performance in all grass varieties and conditions. The shaft driven, low noise ZD-PRO deck is available in a 60-inch or 72-inch cutting width for ZD-PRO 21 and 28 horsepower. The ZD-PRO 25 is equipped standard with a 60-inch mower deck.

The ZD-PRO deck is built strong to take on the toughest commercial applications. Especially designed for the commercial landscaper, this extra-deep deck is 5.5-inches deep allowing more airflow circulation through the blades enabling a higher quality cut at a faster rate. Kubota’s unique baffling system uses a three step (with three blades) process to ‘cut and re-cut’ grass, producing smaller grass clippings and generating a cleaner appearance than the traditional ‘cut and throw’ system. The cutting height can be adjusted from 1 to 5-inches, in half-inch increments.

The Multi-V Belt with heavy cast-iron pulleys allows the deck to tolerate tough mowing conditions and is virtually wear resistant. Swivel anti-scalp rollers rotate a full 360 degrees to glide across grass reducing turf damage. The deck’s parallel linkage mounting allows for easy mower deck removal and the operation requires no tools.

The ZD-PRO comes standard with a cup holder and deluxe seat. This link-type suspension seat with padded armrest offers outstanding support for the operator to work longer hours in comfort. Attachments available for the ZD-PRO zero-turn mowers include Mulching Kits, Grass Catchers, and a Striping Kit to give any lawn that manicured look.

Kubota Tractor Corporation markets a complete line of tractors up to 103 PTO horsepower, along with a line of performance-matched implements, utility vehicles, construction equipment, consumer lawn and garden equipment, and commercial turf products.
