Software transforms TV into multimedia center.

SesamTV Builder, the First Media Center-Building Platform for OEM, Launched at the CEBIT Tradeshow in Hanover, March 10- 16 2005

For the first time, SesamTV Builder enables consumer electronic, PC vendors, integrators and telecom operators to build their Media Center and Home Networking Systems autonomously. SesamTV offers high value platforms to provide the best customer experience by transforming television into a real multimedia center. The SesamTV Builder was introduced recently at the Cebit Tradeshow in Hanover, March 10 – 16, 2005.

SesamTV 2.0 Media Center is a new multimedia program that runs on standard PC or Linux. It allows the consumer full personal video watching, recording and pause capabilities for analog television (with or without MPEG 2 encoders), digital radio and television (DVB-T Cable, Satellite TV), and IP TV. It also allows the user to access and play multimedia files stored on remote PCs in the house; he or she can play DVDs, video files, view photos or listen to MP3 and CD music files. Finally, it gives users access to WEB videos and radios services, electronic program guide or the internet. Dedicated to ergonomics and user-friendliness, SesamTV Smart Focus patented technology allows web browsing and media center operations through use of four arrows and the “ok” keys of a remote control.

SesamTV Builder is the only OEM media center-building platform on the market with an interface that is 100% self-customizable, (including design, graphics, navigation, functions, content and animation), allowing for a wide variety of custom-made media centers for various products, brands, and market segments. The professionals will only have to design one time, as the customized media center runs on multi-platforms (Linux, Windows, Pocket PC; SetTopBox, DMR). Web contents & services are easy to build and integrate. Finally, it offers full support of software and hardware standards for interoperability.

SesamTV’s auto-adaptive interface technology automatically allows users to experience the same quality of design and graphics on any screen ratio (4/3 – 16/9) and any screen resolution.
