MPE Introduces its 'Platinum Series' Burrs ™

Setting the New Standard in Disc-Style Grinders

(Chicago, IL) Modern Process Equipment Corporation (MPE), the world’s leading manufacturer of precision particle reduction equipment, introduces its new, “Platinum series” burrs for their long-standing Model GPX Disc-Style Coffee Grinder. The new burrs exceed any previous technologies by offering both superior grind uniformity and lower coffee exit temperatures, resulting in an improved brew quality. Engineered to last longer, the “Platinum” burrs are now standard for all GPX grinders.

The Model GPX grinder is designed for all coffee applications with batch sizes as small as one pound (including flavored and gourmet coffees, where "clean-out" is important.) Designed to grind from 350 to 600 lbs. per hour (espresso to urn respectively), it provides cost-effective grinding with excellent grind control. A convenient dial allows the rapid selection of any desired coffee grind, with the end result being the ability to achieve a full range of grinds for a wide variety of coffee production applications.

MPE’s “Platinum” series replacement burrs are guaranteed to provide superior grind uniformity, equal or greater wear life and typically cost 30-50% less than factory original replacement burrs.

Modern Process Equipment manufactures a full line of coffee grinding equipment from the 200 lbs/hr. Model GPX to the 10,000 lbs/hr. Model IMD 999.
