Loveshaw Delivers Additional Productivity Improvements with Special Offer
Remote-Controlled Head Lift Delivers Greater Speed & Ease to Users
South Canaan, Pa., March 24, 2005 - Loveshaw(r), the industry's leading manufacturer of packaging and coding systems, announces the addition of a remote-controlled, electric head lift to its Little David SP-304 semi-automatic case former and sealer. By directly influencing the rate and ease with which operators adjust their SP-304, this new head lift can increase throughput, and boost productivity across the packing line.
The inclusion of an electric head lift on the Little David SP-304 significantly reduces the ergonomic stress involved in raising and lowering head and frame assemblies in response to changing case sizes on the line. Operated by a remote control that attaches magnetically to the machine, the head moves from the minimum to the maximum case range in less than a minute. This is more than twice as fast as the speed available through conventional crank style lifters.
In addition to the electric head lift, this semi-automatic case former and sealer contains a number of other Little David safety and efficiency features. Unique in its class, the SP-304 delivers top and bottom flap folding, single mast design, and self-tensioning belts. The ergonomic design means operators require minimal training to use it, while companies maximize the benefit of their investment and avoid injuries to the workforce.
Designed for simple plug-in operation, Loveshaw's Little David SP-304 also showcases a sealed drive system, has a continuous belt drive operating speed of 60-feet a minute, and comes with a significant performance warranty.
