Aluminum Profile System helps build enclosed work areas.

April 6, 2005 - Featuring closed 10 mm slots, aluminum wall and ceiling profiles require no additional machining. Spring-loaded clamping profiles are used for attachment of surface elements and other accessories. T-connector lets user create closed frames that can be reused or reconfigured at any time. With bolt-together construction, rooms can be designed to accommodate customer-specific requirements regarding fire protection class, noise protection, and cleaning options.

New Aluminum Profile System for Walls, Ceilings and Complete Modular Rooms and Offices

Company to display its Wall and Ceiling System at the National Design Engineering Show and Conference, March 7-10, 2005, at the McCormick Place Complex in Chicago, IL, Booth #2016.

New wall and ceiling accessories make it easy to build enclosed work areas, training facilities or controlled manufacturing environments.

BUCHANAN, MI—New aluminum framing accessories from Bosch Rexroth Corporation, Linear Motion and Assembly Technologies group make it easier than ever before to build modular cleanrooms, enclosed work areas, training facilities or offices. Flexible and inexpensive rooms can now be created at any time with the expanded wall and ceiling system from Bosch Rexroth, which requires no additional machining of the aluminum profiles. Two new wall and ceiling profiles feature closed 10 mm slots; and new spring-loaded clamping profiles are used for easy, economical attachment of surface elements and other accessories. A T-connector for the profiles, also new to the program, lets you create closed frames that are simple to disassemble and reuse or reconfigure at any time.

Users can select from various materials, such as glass, wood, plastic, or steel, for the surface elements, infill panels, and doors. As a result, the rooms can be designed to accommodate customer-specific requirements regarding fire protection class, noise protection, and cleaning options. Studs on the ceiling profiles are provided for surface elements, lights, sprinklers, ventilation systems, or filter fan units for clean rooms. Smooth profile surfaces and internal (concealed) connection technology fulfill typical clean room criteria (ISO 2 purity class), since they prevent turbulence and particle traps.

The robust aluminum profile design allows the new wall and ceiling system to withstand high mechanical loads, providing a wide range of application possibilities, including those with self-supporting ceilings. In addition to simple partitioning walls in offices, users can easily set up enclosures in factories, such as training rooms, "clean" assembly environments, or even an attractive exhibition area.

Aluminum framing from Bosch Rexroth is easier to assemble and less expensive than steel, and it requires no welding or painting. With bolt-together construction, modular design and profiles and connectors to meet any strength requirement, the Aluminum Structural Framing program makes short work of hundreds of construction tasks. Stocking distributors nationwide provide application assistance and fast delivery. In addition, customers visiting the e-commerce pages at www.boschrexroth-us.com can place orders for the new wall and ceiling system on-line.

In North America, the Bosch Group manufacturers and markets automotive original equipment and aftermarket products, industrial automation and mobile products, power tools and accessories, security technology, packaging equipment and household appliances. Bosch Rexroth Corporation, a merger of Bosch Automation Technology and Rexroth, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH. In the year 2003, Bosch Rexroth AG achieved sales of $4.4 billion (3.7 billion Euros) with 25,700 employees.

Under the brand name of Rexroth, the company offers all relevant drive, control and motion technologies: from mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics to electronics and associated services. Rexroth has 500,000 customers in over 80 countries and is an extensive supplier of components and systems for industrial and factory automation and mobile applications.
