The unit features Diamond Core Technologyâ„¢ delivering a forgiving arc, excellent out-of-position arc action, a wide voltage sweet spot, and low spatter.
New features include spool gun ready capabilities with built-in electronics to drive either a premium Prince® XL spool gun or the economical Magnum® SG spool gun for outstanding aluminum welding. A second gas solenoid is also built-in to the front panel for fast spool gun connection. These attributes make the unit the most well-equipped and economical spool gun solution in the 250 amp welding power source category.
The Power MIG 255C has an 115V auxiliary receptacle to power a grinder, work lights or equipment chargers right at your work station.
The rugged cast aluminum industrial wire drive system features dual driven rolls, an easy-turn numeric tension indicator, brass-to-brass gun connections for excellent electrical connectivity and Lincoln's split wire guide system delivering full wire path support.
In addition, the Power MIG 255C offers convenience features such as a large locking tool storage compartment, extra length 15 foot gun and a back-saving low-lift shielding gas cylinder platform. Digital meters display preset wire feed speed and voltage, and actual amperage and voltage while welding.
A three-year warranty is offered on parts and labor (90 day warranty on the gun).
